The Cartmel range has been redesigned for even more comfort and support! Now with higher and more ergonomic backrests, including reshaped and extended lateral support cushions for extra support and a comfortable snug feel. Cartmel Lift-Rise Recliner Chairs are in four sizes from Petite to Royale, all with full 'chaise' seat width and a choice of Single-Motor, Dual-Motor or Cloud Comfort Tri-Motor control. Cartmel showcases an attractive scroll arm, but can also be ordered with a wooden knuckle protruding from the front of the arm, providing a handy grab-hold for those less mobile. Further, choose from an electronic headrest adjustment and/or an electronic lumbar adjustment, both geared for individual comfort and support. 


  • Cartmel is available as a Static 2-Seater Sofa, as a Static or Recliner Armchair, or indeed as a Lift-Rise Recliner Chair.
  • Available in a fabulous range of luxury fabrics and top-grain leathers, with a vast selection of colours and weaves offered.
  • Power and Manual recliner options are available for the armchair within this collection, with very little clearance required for full recline between the backrest and wall behind. 
  • When ordered as a manual recliner, select from having either a 'catch' or 'lever' operation - the choice is yours!
  • When ordered as a power recliner, an integrated rechargeable battery option can be specified, removing the need for cables to be plugging into the furniture at all times.
  • An electronically-adjustable headrest feature is also available at an additional cost when ordering a power-reclining armchair
  • On all recliner pieces, an extra layer of upholstered fibre covers the gap between the seat cushion and footplate, providing added support for the back of your knee.
  • All sofas are modular, irrespective of recliner function, with each seat simply clipping together. This is far more convenient when it comes to delivering the furniture.
  • Backrests are easily detachable, making it easier for you to move furniture from room to room when required.
  • All items of furniture from this collection are available to order with small castors, to enable easy movement of furniture on carpets. Alternatively, glide feet are also available, to anchor the furniture when on hard-flooring.
